Texas Partnership schools are eligible for additional opportunities, including grants and fellowship opportunities to support their success.

Grant Opportunities

Resources are available to districts applying for partnership benefits, including grants from the School Action Fund and from the federal Charter School Program.

School Action Fund

The School Action Fund (SAF) aims to increase the number of students in great schools by providing customized planning and implementation support to school districts committed to transforming low-performing schools through bold school actions. To this end, the SAF offers planning and implementation grants to support partnerships.

Amount:

Planning – $300k
Implementation – $500k – $IMM

Eligibility

Partnerships at schools identified as comprehensive or targeted or new school guaranteeing priority enrollment for students attending a comprehensive or targeted school

Charter School Fund

The Charter School Fund (CSF) aims to increase the number of great schools by supporting the start-up and replication of high-performing charter and partnership schools. To this end, the CSF offers a start-up and replication grants that districts pursuing Texas Partnerships can access.

$600k – 800k

Fellowships

Replicating Great Options (RGO) Fellowship

The Replicating Great Options (RGO) Fellowship supports school leaders by growing their capacity to deepen their impact through exceptional programming and operations and to extend their impact through strategic expansion and replication. Throughout the Fellowship, cohort members will experience a variety of supports including school visits, individual check-ins, full cohort convenings, and personalized thought partnership and consulting services. The application window for the 2018 fellowship has ended. More information on the RGO Fellowship and future application cycles is coming later this fall.

Pre-K Innovation Fellowship

Texas Partnerships present a unique opportunity for districts to expand their educational opportunities to early childhood learners. The Pre-K Innovation Fellowship supports districts that wish to partner with early childhood education providers to expand their education options for students in early grades either through new partnerships or formalize existing partnerships. More information on the supports available through the Fellowship and the application process is coming later this fall.
