The Center for School Action supports districts in taking bold actions to positively impact their students and communities.
District Supports
Leaders in districts, schools, and communities across the country have been working to improve their schools through incremental change. Texas districts have an unprecedented opportunity to act on behalf of their students and communities to take actions that lead to meaningful results. The Center for School Action supports districts through multiple grant programs, vetted school improvement partners, and strategic guidance.

Bold Actions
The Center for School Action supports three primary bold actions: Launch New Schools, Create Partnerships, and Redesign Schools. These actions provide opportunities for new schools, turnaround schools, and schools-within-a-school, giving all districts the chance to engage with the Center for School Action.
Launch New School
A partnership between a district & a partner to operate a campus that received a rating of Improvement Required (IR) in the year prior to becoming a SB 1882 campus.
Create Partnerships

Redesign Schools

School Action Fund
Provides customized planning support to transform low-performing schools and create better options for students.
Replicating Great Options Fellowship
Aids in the development of a five-year strategic plan that will then serve as the foundation for future growth.
Charter School Fund
